Join us over in the kitchen for some top culinary hints and tips - Lily's Cookery School

Have you ever wanted to know the reason behind the choice of ingredients that go in to our food? What the health benefits are of all our botanical herbs? How to spend a Sunday evening rustling up a nutritious meal for your Best Friend?

For all these reasons we decided it was time our customers got a little closer to the ingredients we use in our range of foods - and so we've launched the Lily's Kitchen Cookery School.

We often have customers calling us who enjoy cooking for their pets from time to time and want to know whether what they are cooking is a complete, healthy, balanced meal. Contrary to popular belief, chicken and rice on a regular basis for pets is not at all balanced in the long term! So we thought, let's open the kitchen doors and share our secrets with you, so you can whip up a Lily’s Kitchen style meal for your pet!

So come along to one of our cooking classes and learn how to cook nutritious, delicious and balanced meals for your mutts and/or moggies.

Our lovely homeopathic vet Holly Mash will be on hand to offer any nutritional advice. Henrietta, the creator of all the Lily’s Kitchen recipes and Katy our keen cook will also be running the classes.

We will be running a number of classes throughout the year. The first cooking class, last month, focussed on making a complete balanced food for your dog, as well as some ideas for home made, healthy treats. We’ll look at what essential ingredients you need to provide the very best for your pet. We'll also discuss the specific therapeutic benefits of the herbs we use.

Here are some comments from some attendees of our first course:

"Brilliant course, very informative!"

"The course was great - very helpful, engaging, fun I really enjoyed it"

"Found all the information about the herbs really helpful"

If you're interested in any future courses then please send us an email and we'll send you details of the courses we are running for dog - as well as cat - recipes.

We'll inspire you with really good recipes to help maintain a healthy digestive system and have your pet be the picture of health. We will also be providing you with a goodie bag of our food to take away with you, along with recipes from all the meals so you can recreate some Lily’s food in your own kitchen.
