Pancake Recipe for Dogs
Buckwheat is a lovely flour – it has a sweet taste and is also very nutritious. These are easy pancakes to make and you can fill them with all sorts of things to create a nutritious meal. This is also a rather good recipe to share!
For the pancakes:
200 g (7 oz) buckwheat flour
500 ml (17 fl oz) milk 2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vegetable oil
For the filling:
100 g (4 oz) cottage cheese
100 g (4 oz) spinach leaves, shredded
1) Measure out the flour into a bowl, make a well in the centre and pour in the milk and beaten eggs. Whisk together, then place the bowl into the fridge for 20 minutes.
2) Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, then pour enough batter into the pan to coat the bottom. Cook for about 30 seconds, then flip the pancake over and cook for a further minute or so.
3) Put the cottage cheese in the centre of the pancake and add the spinach leaves. Roll up the pancake while it’s in the pan so the filling heats up. Cut into pieces to serve.
